Sounds like Minnesota. Except our wind chill was way below zero today. Ahhhhhh.

Yes, but in Minnesota, you expect weather like this.

We've had more snow in the last couple of weeks than we usually do in three winters!

I'm sorry. I've been hearing about it on Plurk and Twitter, and I thought about you, too.

Vunderbar... I feel the first bit of snow from a new system just starting to arrive here. Then again, digging out is just a way of life here up in the foothills.

Best of luck, you have my deepest empathy.

Thank you.

It rained last night and the snow was pretty much gone this morning, but I'm getting tired of this pattern.

However, as one of my friends observed over the weekend, we've been getting more and more snow over the past few years. It's past time I invested in a snow shovel and some chains for my tires.

It began to snow literally 30 minutes before the vehicle arrived to move my bed and furniture into the new apartment. ARGH! I thought "Oh no, here we go again!" But, as with you, it was all melted and gone by morning. So looks like we got all panicked for nothing. From what I hear, that's the way it's "supposed" to snow around here. All at once at night, and then gone by morning.

That *is* the way it's supposed to be around here!

I hope the move went well.

I'm sorry I wasn't available to help.
