Hardly a personal best -- but I'm just happy I had both the physical capacity and the will to do the entire three miles.

Training for the 3-Day is about duration, not intensity -- which is counter to my past practice, which has been to get maximum benefit in minimum time. I suspect that I'm going to start plowing through a lot of audio books as I rack up the miles.

I am pouring sweat.
It's a been a long time.
It's a good feeling.

Last night it was me and my trusty treadmill.

I hope to start doing outside walks in the evenings with the guys, and/or bicycle rides with them and the daughter on cross-training days.

On weekends I'll be doing training walks with other 3-Day participants.
