Bad priestess.
No biscuit.

The question about what to wear to present my workshop is not about what will make the most favorable impression on the participants.

It's not about what my dad would advise me to wear in order to present an image of authority and confidence.

It's about how Ereshkigal wants me to present myself in public as Her priestess.

I don't yet know what She wants -- but at least I'm now thinking about the question within the proper paradigm.

For the record - what you wore the first time did a damned good job of focusing the mind on the material. The contrast between the words and the image was stark, but not stark enough to break my ability to comprehend it, and that forced me to pay a lot more attention to what you were saying. I'm usually thinking about four things at once, but not then.

I don't have much experience as a visual designer, but an image of just-barely-overtly restrained power wouldn't see you amiss.

Thank you for this.

I had to rack my memory to remember what I wore that day, but then I remembered the leopard print skirt and the soft black jacket with my Ereshkigal chain necklace.

Was the "stark contrast" between the somewhat formal outfit I was wearing and the rather sensational subject matter? Or was it something else?

That was the stark contrast I was referring to. I didn't remember the skirt being leopard print. Perhaps I couldn't see it from the angle I was at, or you were behind a lectern or something.
