Last night was. . . intense.

I had a dream that was so unlike anything I've ever experienced before that I'm still a bit shaken. I'm not trying to be a tease, but I'm not sure if I'm going to discuss it here even after I talk about it with my teacher, but I will say that something big happened. And I wasn't sure if it was a blessing or a nightmare. I'm feeling okay this morning, so I'm tending toward the former, but last night was extremely uncomfortable.

A couple of other folks on this friends list also seemed to have intense evenings. Is something going around?

ETA: Got confirmation that all is well. But my head still feels all stretchy. I'm having a heck of a time keeping my mind focused here at work.

Who am I kidding? I'm not at all focused on my job at the moment. Nor am I likely to be so for the rest of the day. Fortunately, I have a very low-activity schedule today.

Yikes.

Actually yah, I had this young girl in my dream who was out to kill people. Teenage, very involved with her glamour and competitive to the point of planning and attempting murder. There was also some evil behavior toward animals, though I don't remember the specifics. That bit I attribute to reading a bulletin by a friend who has a habit of posting horrible crap done to animals. When I woke I told myself to stop reading what she posts. It aint worth it.
But yes, it was weird though my boo (who was there) and I handled this little would be murderess pretty well. The subject matter was strange for me and I wasn't much liking it when I was dealing with it. My day went well enough though, no apparent carryover.
Yah, so I don't know what that was about but I did note it.

Yup. I've been having intense dreams too. The latest one is really annoying.

The Grrrrness of the dream (http://rainstardragon.livejournal.com/302432.html#cutid1) if you'd like a look.

My focus has been sucking lately too. I hope it didn't spread to you from me! >.

I have been having very intense and strange dreams the past 3 days.

It could be the Samhain season, since the Veil seems to be thinner with regards to certain Otherworlds.

I've never considered myself to be particularly sensitive to moon or seasonal tides. . . but then again, I've never been this deeply connected before. I have a feeling a whole lot of things are going to be different now.

*nods*

Even though this is a low-woo time of year for me, personally (as opposed to between Beltaine and Lammas), some things have shifted recently for me as well.

You are definitely more connected now, so I'm not surprised the dreams are intense prior to Samhain.
