It seems to me that the answer to this question should come very close to being what your life mission is.

Some folk do not know their life mission, or may not have one they understand.

That being said; get some land, build the Abbey, give all but what is absolutely necessary that is left away; paying for friends and families medical needs, mortgages, and generally giving it to places that can and will make the most use of it.

I do not much care for money, but it has its uses and is necessary just to live in this culture. I still dislike it and have no desire or need for anything beyond what need dictates.

I would never make a millionaire. LOL

That's what I was trying to get at with the question: the sense that if someone feels they do not understand, or can't reach it, this could at least provide some ideas to ponder.

To me, satisfaction is too close to stagnation. It's the frustration, the longing, the reaching, the striving that keeps us moving and learning and growing. I don't want to be satisfied.

What I was trying to get at in my question was what people would choose to do with their time and energy if they did not have to worry about getting up and going to a day job in order to support themselves.

I find it amusing that the two people who have responded don't have that as an obstacle. You both have other challenges, but not that of having to report to work on a regular schedule and do what a boss tells you in order to bring home money.
