One of my former co-workers at FormerMyCo just posted to her Facebook that "Work sucks today."

I have resisted leaving a comment.

I wouldn't want it to be snarky, would not intend it to be snarky, but I'm afraid that's how it would come across.

She does not read this journal, however, so I can say it here: Be grateful you have the job.

That's all for now.

I probably would have sent that, but then again sometimes people don't open their eyes until they receive a 'snark'.

Yes, well. . . Everyone is entitled to their bad days.

It's not her fault I'm unemployed -- and the gods know I've snarked enough about bad days at work when thousands of others didn't have jobs, including friends here.

Very true. I tend to "snark" in a humorous, light jabbing sort of way... and not often. "Everyone is entitled to bad days," as you said, and I can appreciate the way you handled your initial feelings about it. :-)

Work may still suck. :)

Indeed.

And it's not as if I haven't been reveling in *not* having to go to that office every day.

And that comment is far kinder than mine would be, if one of my former coworkers posted on Facebook that work sucked that way. I'd be thinking, "GOOD!"

This is why I do not claim to be ultra-enlightened. :-)
