Techno Fail

Apparently if I had simply tried doing a "refresh" when I got those error messages when I tried to access LJ from my gadget, asking it to refresh the page in question (you know: prompt it to connect to the new server instead of what it had cached), my access problems would have been over weeks ago.

Arrrgggghh!


To make matters worse: I found this out by accident. None of the "Help" folks even suggested this.

An "undocumented feature", I see. How peachy. Well, with any luck you can document it and the word will trickle down and nobody else will have the same odyssey of frustration. But it would have been nice for it to have been documented in some other fashion; like, say, by a software tester who was being paid to find it.
