April: I found this while doing some Google image searches yesterday, and fell in love.
May: Yesterday I attended my first offsite meeting with my new team.
June: Yesterday [the one-year anniversary ofuncrowned_king's death] was A Good Day -- and certainly less painful than Friday.
July: One of the appeals of the old fashioned road trip is, of course, the temporary illusion of being able to outrun whatever is wrong in your ordinary life. . . . or maybe just to abandon and outrun ordinary life itself for a little while.
Aug: One of the few things I have fromuncrowned_king is a kukri knife.
Sept: [My personal inventory] is 10 pages long, although the last three pages are an extensive table of To-Do's with emotional reactions, perspective checks, and prioritization.
Oct: I'm still feeling physically wrung out, but last night I was told in no uncertain terms that I needed to do something for evening practice.
