Date: 2008-11-30 07:41 pm (UTC)See, this is why I don't do fanfiction. Spent most of my childhood watching TOS reruns, and most of my teens and twenties reading Star Trek novelizations--when I wasn't reading LOTR. And yet, I missed that.
The image is probably just going to rattle around in my head for the next six months, and finally show up as something else completely: a Star Fleet Battles campaign, maybe, or a Morrowind mod.
But yeah, if something resembling a fic shows up, I'll let you know.
