Promotion!

qosToday my manager officially extended my "offer" of a promotion!
In addition to a new job title, I've been bumped to the next pay grade, get a $2500/year raise and become salaried rather than hourly.
Making it even nicer is that my boss initiated this on my behalf, based on the work I've been doing, and she told me that her own boss was behind this 100%.
After four+ years of spinning my wheels as an admin with no opportunity for advancement except to start working for an executive further up the hierarchy, it feels wonderful to be getting a promotion just seven months after taking this new position based on my performance.
