1. I don't have to be physically strong to be tough. "Tough" is a mental characteristic.
2. One of the advantages to working out with a trainer is that I laugh more than I would if I were working out alone -- and more laughter means more endorphins, which means I go can longer and lift more.
3. I love the sensation of my muscles just starting to tremble with fatigue but still having several reps left in me. (See #1 above.)
I really, really love this kind of workout.
It's so good to be doing it again.
