My copy of Kushiel's Mercy arrived this evening!!

It's big and thick and has a luscious picture on the front.

I'm going to try to savor it slowly.
I tore through the last book as fast as I could and regretted it.

I can't wait to get back to Terre d'Ange!

Mm. I still haven't read the one before it, either. *moans* If only Terre d'Ange were real! *bites lip*

"Love as thou wilt" and sexual freedom are not distant ideals to dream about, they are real principles worth fighting for.

An excellent reminder, even for the choir.

So Much Envy!!!

We're (R. and I) waiting to get our copy until she comes out to the University Book Store for the signing on the 23rd. He's all about the paying full price to support local book stores that bring us authors in person. In the mean time, we're re-reading Dart. We just set sail for Alba.

I think I own the first one in that series. I loved it and tore through it like I do all books I love, The never last long enough for me. hehe I have heard good things about the following books and really must say I should check them out of the library some times soon and read them.

If you liked the first book, you owe it to yourself to read at least the next two, which round out Phedre and Joscelin's story. I need to go back and re-read them.
