I Tried. . .
Mar. 20th, 2008 10:30 am. . . but I've been breaking down in tears every fifteen minutes or so.
I've declared a mental health day and left the office.
Not sure what to do next. . . but it won't involve trying to conceal tears from my co-workers.

Date: 2008-03-21 06:41 am (UTC)And having this happen is not "not coping" ... while mildly inconvenient in the workplace ... I love, and support, you in the challenging times of your life. Things like this just don't "go away" ... you feel them, deeply, and for a long time. Screw the world who says "get over it". xoxoxox

Date: 2008-03-21 02:52 pm (UTC)And I echo the sentiment that this is a sign of you coping positively with grief, not a lack of skill on your part. (Though I understand and would feel the same false lack of competency).
