I was settling into bed and thought I can't believe it's over. . .

A moment later, a stronger internal voice said, No. This is just the beginning.

The nice thing is that I believe that second voice.

The second voice is right. More right than you can know, but next year when you're at your second P-con and looking back on what's happened since the first P-con, you'll see clearly what is now only a dim shape.
