Well, I'm back home again.
The road I usually take to work was closed down when I returned.
The highway was a mess.
I declared my commute over, called my boss, and told him I'd see him tomorrow.
I'm now sitting in my cozy home, with my gas fireplace going, and the rain still coming down outside -- although it finally seems to be easing up.
The downstairs of the apartment complex's office is flooded.
I am not flooded.

Is it really that bad?
btw, I am so thankful to hear you're not flooded. I remember reading horror stories about your other place.
Re: Is it really that bad?
Date: 2007-12-06 04:54 am (UTC)It's bad enough south of here that a couple of miles of I-5 have been closed. One of our buildings in Bothell had to be sandbagged. Seven people have been killed by the flood.
Re: Yep. Bad.
Date: 2007-12-06 05:08 am (UTC)No hard feelings, but I'm going to delete your comment once I post this. I never put my daughter's name on my LJ. Again: no hard feelings, just my protocol. (I've had to it to my sister a couple of times. . .)
