Short Week

Nothing like knowing that both the department heads I support, several of their managers, and a good portion of the teams are going to be on vacation all week, plus a lot of rich spiritual experience over the weekend to build on, to de-motivate me from wanting to head for work today.

I have a workshop to continue to create, an inner temple to build, and some good books to read. The last thing I want to do is be at my desk at the office.

I ended up taking this morning and tomorrow morning off, which is all I can get away with, but oh, yes, I hear ya!

Is there any way to do any of your other work at work during this slack time? Or ... just take a day or two of PTO?

Unfortunately I do have a bunch of stuff to do today -- but if I buckle down, I might be able to create some clear space for Tuesday or Wednesday.

That thought makes me more cheerful!

Inner Temple stuff is fun! I've resumed working on my inner druid grove and hope to get back to working with the Order's shared inner grove fairly soon.
