Ahhhhh. . . .

I'm home.
I'm dressed in my comfy clothes and bare feet.
I have my favorite beverage.
I have warmed-up leftover shrimp and penne pesto pasta.
I have Becket and Masada* on DVD and volumes 8 and 9 of Sandman.
There's a fire in the fireplace.
I have the day off tomorrow.
I have a massage scheduled for right after I drop the daughter off at school tomorrow morning.
I intend to spend the entire rest of the day (until the daughter comes home from school) immersed in spiritual pursuits.




*I'm not going to watch either Becket or Masada tonight, because they're too tragic and intense for my mood just now -- but it's nice to know they are finally in my collection.

It's part of a friend's backyard landscaping. I really like the photo, with the intensity of color and light, and I've been a rock-hound since before I can remember.
