qosThe interviews went very well this afternoon. I seem to be the only candidate, which of course bodes well for my chances. (It certainly would be embarrassing if I didn't get it!)
The other two times I've interviewed here, co-workers have told me "You're already in the position and doing a great job. They'd be stupid to give the position to someone else!" And in both cases, I cautioned them not to make assumptions. Both times, an outside candidate got the job.
This time, I feel very confident. In fact, I expect to receive an offer letter before the end of the week.
Here's hoping I won't have to come back and eat my words. . . .
