It's been a while since I've done this one, and have since collected both new songs and new friends.

This time, its gacked from [livejournal.com profile] iamentheos.

The rules:
1. Open your library (iTunes, Winamp, Media Player, iPod, etc)
2. Put it on shuffle
3. Press play
4. For every question, type the song that's playing
5. When you go to a new question, press the next button
6. Don't lie and try to pretend you’re cool... and alot of the songs fit with the setting

Opening Credits:
Here Comes the Sun - The Beatles (That works!)

Waking Up:
Skull & Crossbones - Pirates of the Caribbean soundtrack (nothing like some battle music to get the blood flowing first thing in the morning!)

First Day At School:
Do You Hear the People Sing - Les Miserables soundtrack (hmmmm. . .)

Falling In Love:
You Still Surprise Me - Shaun Cassidy (a very romantic song, and it dates back to when I first fell in love. . .)

Fight Song:
Time Passages - Al Stewart (not quite)

Breaking Up:
You're Not in Kansas Anymore (also doesn't work; it's a song about falling in love)

Prom:
A quote mp3: "I would rather hear my dog bark at a crow than a man swear he loves me." -- Beatric (Emma Thompson) in Much Ado About Nothing (I didn't enjoy either of the proms I went to)

Life:
A Call from the Vatican - Nine soundtrack (A very sexy song in which a film director pretends that the explicit call from his girlfriend is a call from the Vatican about the project he is working on)

Mental Breakdown:
Cuddle Up - Captain and Tennille (well, when I'm having a breakdown, I definitely want someone I love to cuddle up to me)

Driving:
The Leave Taking - The Two Towers soundtrack (right idea, but certainly not the right tempo)

Flashback:
Theme from The Hardy Boys Mysteries (too funny!)

Getting back together:
Go the Distance - Hercules (a bit of a stretch, but it could work)

Wedding:
Whistle Down the Wind - Lottie Mayor (yes, that works)

Birth of Child:
Another mp3, this one from Babylon-5: "When the darkness comes, know this: you are the right people, in the right place, at the right time." (oh, yes. . . )

Final Battle:
"Of all the necks on this boat, highness, the one you should be worried about is your own." - The Princess Bride

Death Scene:
Tire Tracks and Broken Hearts - Bonnie Tyler (could work)

Funeral Song:
Follow Me Up to Carlow - Jim McCann (this is more a battle song, but okay)

End Credits:
Far From Over - BeeGees (hah!)

And there's no Carpenters -- surprise!
There's other music from that time period, but none of theirs.
