Oooo, pictures from Wicked!! Yeah!!

I wrote these words down last night, as I continued to process my very embodied response to seeing the first picture:

I believe some of the true beauty of the feminine lies within her power and her pleasure. Our world has, in recent history, deemed women's power and pleasure to be very wrong, very ugly, and very evil, like a green-skinned "bad" witch. It is time to re-dis-cover and reclaim the beauty of feminine power and pleasure, with much joy and laughter.

This feels like the second image in what may grow to become a series of images through which the divine Goddess has communicated deeply with my soul. The first was a picture I found of two beautiful women, sisters maybe, sitting naked in front of a mirror. The one was holding back the hair of the other, so that she could see her own face.

Now, in this picture, the one is nurturing the other to bring out her beauty, and claim kinship within that process.
