Quick Monday Thoughts

I have done three tarot readings in four days, for three people with whom I have very different relationships, in very different situations, and they all went well.

I need to buy new shoes. Changing my shoes as part of changing my work personna.

Changing my work personna is part of a game/challenge I have set myself to get out of the admin position and into something with teeth.

My new business cards for my spiritual direction practice are beautiful.

Initial rates will be $50/hour.

I need to buy a cassette tape so my daughter can do her Family History Interview with me very soon for her class.

Jehanne needs -- and deserves -- an inner life.

I need to get in the shower now, or I will be late for work.

Changing from a part-time person (even though my position is full time, fully employed) to one who is invested in the business and in my own career. Someone who is capable of bringing more to the table than admin support.

And see, I think "fuck me shoes" register well as work shoes in ALL professional arenas.

The problem for me with "fuck me shoes" is that I need to learn to walk in them comfortably and gracefully for them to be effective in any way at all!

Well. . . since I'm not going to work as a sacred prostitute anytime in the near future, I doubt it. ;-)

But I'm sure L&L would not find the two mutually inconclusive.
