Update from the Home Front

Well, I'm certainly no longer stressing about keeping busy!
I've been on work email and text messaging contstantly since about 7:45am!
(Very often that's not even the case if I'm actually at my desk.)

And since much of the work has been with my manager and others in the department, I'm not too concerned about justifying my time.

You work hard regardless of where you do it, and there are moments of lull in any work environment. I don't think you have to justify your time working at home to anyone. From what you've posted before, it sounds like your manager and others know full well just how hard you work.

I'm glad you could stay home today, though. If you don't have to drive, I'd recommend not doing so.

Thanks for the affirmations.
It's been snowing some more up here (although lightly compared to what's come before) so I'll be staying put for the rest of the afternoon and earning my pay from the relative comfort of my own kitchen.

I like working in pj's and slippers.

SOME of us are a SMARTYpants!

So far today, I have:
1. done two loads of laundry,
2. cleaned out two cages and
3. bathed their inhabitants,
4. vacuumed
5. managed not to strangle anyone or run far, far away from here.

Does that count as anything too, do you think?

One question: have you checked the prices for travel packages to Disneyland, especially those with departures this evening? I bet Shuttle Express could get you to the airport (the rest of your family is optional). ;-)
