Lightening Up

It's amazing how much better I feel this morning after the stress of the last couple of weeks. I was tired yesterday, but had a reasonably good day at work and then spent the evening watching the 2001 version of "Ocean's 11," which I enjoyed very much. I've decided to stop hating Brad Pitt just because he's beautiful - which I'm sure will come as a great relief to him.

oh yeah... Ocean's 11 is one great movie.

Don't hate Brad Pitt... He can't help it. 'sides, it isn't like he can't act!! *grin*

I'm hoping they do this one right. The cast will be great to watch, if nothing else, with Pitt, Orlando Bloom, and Sean Bean. And it's been a long time since I've seen Peter O'Toole on the big screen, which would be worth going to see all by itself.

I have the suspicion that my background in classical studies may be at war with my usual ability to simply sit back and enjoy a popcorn flick filled with gorgeous people and lots of action. We'll see.

Yeah you'll probably have a hard time reconciling your training and the movie experience...and of what I've seen of the trailers it's showing that orlando bloom has all the acting chops of weeks old butchers bin. He's the new Kyle McLachlan of this generation...pretty yes...acting...no.
