Wicked and V and POTO

In a week or two, after more of my friends have had a chance to see V for Vendetta (and truly, most of you would like it), I've got a few reflections on the interesting parallels and divergences between V and the Phantom of the Opera.



And for the Wicked fans in the house, woodwardiocom wrote this riff on Dorothy and Elphaba, inspired by V.

heh. i can see that.

myself, i was thinking about how interesting it was that both wicked and v for vendetta have sympathetic protagonists who are terrorists.

Of course, I also can't remember any act of terrorism that Elphaba actually carries out.
