Leave a list of fictional characters in your journal that you would love to get a message from. Your Friends's mission, should they choose to accept it, is to write you an in-character "letter" from a character on that list. Then they post their own list in their journal, and the process continues!

I'm cheating on this one, because I haven't written anything for Viv -- yet! -- but I'm going to go ahead and post this in case any of my dear Friends care to venture this exceptionally fun and challenging meme.

No need for the letters to be lengthy -- just a few words would be nice.

i wish i had time to do fun things. but i have a fellowship application to write today and then i'm going out of town. :<

school and socializing so interfere with the quality of my ljing. ;>

My Dear Queen of Swords,

I find myself with much time available to me at the convent, and I would be most happy to hear news of the outside world. My embroidery has improved considerably in my time here, I will say.

There are many who I think would be quite surprised to learn that their queen has taken refuge here. Many of the younger girls who have arrived most lately had thought that I, like my King, had died long ago. I find that sad, as it makes it less and less likely that any that I knew will come to speak with me. While a convent is a retreat, a place of solace and hiding, I have yet to learn to curb my curiosity, nor to give up my interest in those that I knew.

So, it would do me great pleasure to hear of what has passed while I have been here.
