Busy!

More busy days -- but good ones.

Miss V continues to be a new woman, and I heard a few things from Jeannie today, in confidence, which indicate that she may have received some 'constructive feedback' recently to impact her behavior.

I had my quarterly bonus meeting with Jeannie today. She gave me 115% on my performance -- and since these ratings are now calibrated with her peers, it means that the entire leadership team thinks my performance is outstanding. Jeannie also told me how much she values me as a partner, which is extremely gratifying.

Overtime every day this week. No time for real personal stuff, just work, child, and the bare bones of hearth care. I'm tired, but I feel good about my job, which is nice.

And on the completely frivolous side of things: it's the 3-year anniversary of the [livejournal.com profile] bean_daily community, which is a fan community for Sean Bean, who I enjoy very much in the LOTR movies and the Sharpe's series (not to mention other goodness like "Goldeneye" and "National Treasure and. . . )

To celebrate, community members were asked to post their favorite Bean photos. This image, with Samantha Bond (Miss Moneypenny in the most recent Bond movies) is from a stage production of Macbeth. It made my day. I suspect it may also improve the days of a few of my friends.

One day soon -- really! -- I hope to make posts of substance again.
And then maybe some gaming posts.
I really want to play some RPG's again.

*hugs*

I've been thinking about you.
Hope to be able to do more than that very soon.
The big meeting is over today, and I hope to have a chance to breathe again.

Silent Hill

Sean Bean is going to be in a movie called Silent Hill, which comes out this April. Silent Hill is a series of console games that are the scariest things I've ever laid eyes on, to be honest. I can't play them when I'm home alone, they freak me out so much. But one of them in particular was kind of metaphysical and eye opening. Needless to say, I'm really looking forward to it!

I don't do scary movies, so I wasn't planning to see it. I'll be interested in hearing what you think of it.
