If there's anything more disturbing than The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy -- a cartoon in which a scary little girl named Mandy gets one over on The Grim Reaper and forces him to become their best friend -- it's the concept of a Billy and Mandy Christmas special.

It gets even more creepy when said Christmas special has Malcolm McDowell guest starring as a vampire who first appears singing "Singing in the Rain."

At least it's a pretty safe bet that 99% of the actual target audience doesn't get the reference.

Why isn't this available on a TV near me? It sounds wonderful!

Do you get Cartoon Network?

It's actually one of my favorite cartoons. The creators once did a riff on God Emperor of Dune -- something else that went straight over the head of most kids.

I may do. If I do I'm afraid it's one of the channels I scoot right past. Clearly I'm missing something...
