Not good: waking up feeling very well rested, only to look at the clock, find out I should have been at work 53 minutes before, and realizing I forgot to set my alarm last night. It took me 20 minutes to shower and dress and get out the door, and more than an hour to get to work through the rush hour traffic in the rain. I brought my work laptop home tonight to get caught up.
Good: getting my Disneyland trip documents in the mail and squeeing like a little kid when I unfolded the map of the park and thought I am going to be there soon!

Don't spoil it by stressing out. You won't get there any faster. Phone work, explain, and know that they know how conscientious and hard working and (usually) reliable you are."
