I've been just-enough-to-feel-cruddy sick all week. I feel mostly ok in the morning, but my stomach ends up feeling less and less good throughout the day, and even though I've been going to bed at 9:30pm and sleeping through the night, I never feel energized enough to really work.

Blech.

This could be a consequence of your recent calorie deficit. Alas, we must suffer to be svelte. ;-)

Sounds like you are missing a nutrient because of your diet/metabolism changes recently.

Have you been giving yourself a day off every now and then from your workouts to rest? Resting is one of the most overlooked aspects of exercise.

Are you taking any vitamins? Just be sure that you are getting everything you need. It might be potasium, which can be sweated out and leave you feeling crampy and low energy. You like banannas?

I think I overdid it in the beginning, I was feeling so good about being back in the exercise groove. I actually skipped the "day off" scheduled into the cycle the first week.

I've been taking a multi-vitamin, but wasn't being consistent with it. And now I have bananas in my kitchen -- and in me.

Thanks for the advice.
