No news about the second interview.
My company has an infamously slow hiring process, but when I was told "We'll start getting back to people early next week" and Wednesday morning comes without a call or email, I begin to suspect that they've made an offer to someone else and are waiting to finalize it before letting everyone else know they didn't make it.
On the other hand, someone in upper management finally made some decisions, so there will shortly be announcements about re-orgs, and job postings should be shaken loose. If I don't get this position, the editing position search may be reactivated soon.
