Ugh

I have a sore throat this morning. It started yesterday late afternoon, and did not get better despite the good night's sleep I got.

Both Jeannie and Miss V are out of the office today, and it's a holiday weekend, which means that it should be a quiet day, and that the managers in charge will send everyone home a bit early.

My parents were going to come over on Saturday morning to help me finish painting my bedroom, but I'm not sure I'm going to be up for it.

The good news is that it's payday.
And my daughter is happy and healthy.
And I'm going to be managing my own significant project at work (more later, when I have more energy and more info), and my boss supports me enthusiastically.
I'm loved passionately and tenderly.
My basement is dry.

I'd say that's more than enough for a Friday, even with a sore throat.
