Thinks back. . .
Worked an hour and a half over time; did not eating lunch.
Went to Red Robin for hamburger and a Diet Coke with vodka rather than join the commute at its worst.
Went to bookstore for an hour or so.
Drove 30 minutes home.
Checked email.
Continued fascinating email exchange involving very personal questions. (Just realized I've been doing all the answering. I should probably think up one or two such questions for the other person. . . .)
Caught up on LJ (minimal commenting).
Spent a few minutes with The Child when she deigned to notice me between rounds of various kid-games going on upstairs.
Spoke on telephone with recently re-appeared ex-boyfriend. (Not either of the ones from yesterday's post -- but they do seem to be coming out of the woodwork recently!)
Spoke with The Goddaughter in my living room.
Turned back to computer.
And now it's fifteen minutes past my bedtime.
Good news of the day: An unexpected $80 refund from my HMO since I had to switch providers when I got this job! I can really use the money!
Off to bed!
Tomorrow is going to be another long day of doing Miss Vicki's job as well as my own. That's not really a complaint. She will do the same for me when it's my turn to go on vacation. It's just so much busier than usual!
