*Definitely* Better With Pirates!

The Child and I saw Pirates of Penzance today, and it was such fun! I'd never seen the show before, and it was a wonderful romp. Our favorite actor of this company played the Pirate King, and he was as delightful as always.

Today marked seven days in a row of exercise -- something I haven't done since I-Can't-Remember-When. I technically didn't have a workout assigned today, but I had the time and energy, and so jumped on the treadmill for 35 minutes this morning. I've lost three pounds this week. I don't expect it to continue at that rate, but it's a very happy beginning to the new regimen!

Why, that do be me in the icon. That was my second place winner in the Masquerade at RustyCon last year. I didn't know you were local. Interesting. As for Pirates of Penzance, my friend jhitchin is in the cast. He has some pictures of it up on his LJ.
