Tired

I am so tired I can barely think straight.
And I am slammed at work.
I haven't checked my online class this week to find out what's going on.
I have to post a response to a book tomorrow night.
The book, fortunately, is an easy read.
But I am exhausted.
I think it's because I'm drowning at work and very stressed-out.
Last night's phone panic didn't help.
At least I have it back.

You want to know where it was, don't you?
*sigh*
I had left it on the top floor of the house, where my Ex and his sister's fiance have built out a large room into two smaller ones for the twins. The girls took me upstairs last night to see it for the first time, and I evidently took out my phone (for some unfathomable reason) and left it up there. By the time I realized it was missing, the girls were already asleep, so when I went upstairs to check, I couldn't turn on the lights and get a good look around. But -- ironically -- that was probably the last place I would have expected it to be. Why in the world had I taken it out of my pocket to begin with???

*gack*

I really, really, really want a long, thorough massage.
A soak in a hot tub (before or after) would be very welcome too.

That's one of the very few things I (occasionally) miss about not being partnered: no one around to give back rubs.

Here's wishing for down time, relaxation, and peace... in every conceivable crevice of your life.

And, the back rub thing, i so hear ya.

Thanks for the good wishes.
I like that phrase too: "Every conceivable crevice of your life."

Some of my spontaneous images of "crevices" were rather vivid. ;-)

LOL. That's such a great word. Especially cuz I can plant dirty thoughts in others' minds, all the while insisting I was actually speaking geologically.

I read the first sentance of this entry and before I scrolled down I thought to myself... "she sounds like she needs a backrub."

*lifts teacup

A toast to frustrating distances.

That's only cause I am safe and far away *wink

I'm sure you just wouldn't be able to stand me at all standing before you.

We shall have to test that hypothesis one day. ;-)

Glad to hear your phone was found.

Visit me. Better yet, move to Vancouver. Then we'll be able to trade backrubs. :-)

Moving to Vancouver isn't likely, but I would love to visit face to face some time. I'm in Seattle, which isn't that far away. Let me know if you plan to come down this way!

Maybe I'll come down for a day trip this summer!
