10 Things I've Done Which I'm Quite Sure You Have Not
(Which is actually a bit harder than I expected. . . )

1. Directed a full-length play and a one-act play, stage-managed an un-cut production of Hamlet and played the Sailor in Act IV -- and completed a four-class, all-A's college semester -- all at the same time.

2. Directed a film about high power rocketry, shooting exteriors on a prison farm, while pregnant.

3. Wrote a Masters Degree thesis about sacred prostitution in the ancient and modern worlds (challenging many popular beliefs).

4. Divorced a spouse, then proceeded to amicably share a duplex with him for more than four years.

5. Was ordained as a Grail Priestess

6. Died onstage with Ian McKellan

7. Read The Romance of Atlantis

8. Started a tongue-in-cheek urban legend that persisted more than a year after the story was first told.

9. Was court-martialed (for mutiny) at Girl Scout camp

10. Created my own writing system at age 12 and continue to use it 28 years later.

Don't be fooled into thinking I'm fascinating.

But maybe when [livejournal.com profile] queenofhalves is in town, we can all get together :) That's the next time I'm in Seattle, though a large part of that trip will be dedicated to Mystery School stuff.

I'm thinking that at the very least I should invite you, [livejournal.com profile] queenofhalves, [livejournal.com profile] lexicat, and [livejournal.com profile] elphie over to my house for dinner, since I was the one to be the guest last time.

I would <3 that! The only commitment I have (and I've made it on behalf of [livejournal.com profile] queenofhalves and [livejournal.com profile] lexicat too) is to my Mystery School group, Saturday night. Come to think of it, you might like to join us too. This year's myth is Arthurian Legend. Those of us enrolled have permission to share our materials with people not enrolled (and you are not under any obligation to join us). We have an ongoing group in Seattle that is trying to meet once a month.

What is this, the third book we've found that we have in common that no one else has read??

I found the book when I was about 12 years old, maybe slightly older. Salustra was a particular heroine of mine -- no surprise, I'm sure. And Signar. . . *swoon*

Very cool list.
The thesis sounds especially fascinating. What was... well, the main thesis statement?

Also, what's this about a writing system?
