*shudder*

Ok. I have to admit I laughed a couple of times, but the last third of the movie became increasingly surreal and weird. The Child thought it was great, which was the whole point of the exercise, and was delighted that we had gone together, late, which was even more important, so the evening was a success.

I'm taking myself to watch National Treasure once I get my paper done this weekend. (That's assuming I get it done on Sunday before too late.)

Today I'm heading to my friend's house for a gaming session. We're finishing the Castle Falkenstein scenario we didn't wrap up last month, and instead of spending the night we'll be breaking up at 10pm, which means I should get another decent night's sleep and have a clear head tomorrow for the paper.

I saw National Treasure last night and loved it! Very fun movie. This should be a winner for Nicholas Cage. The treasure itself is perfect.

Glad to hear a good review! Sean Bean is the main attraction for me, but I'm jsut generally looking for a romp to take my mind away from the stress these days. "After Sunset," with Pierce Brosnan and Salma Hayek is also one I'm looking forward to.
