Tree of Life Meditations

*Finally* finished three cycles through the sephira meditating on the general attributes of each.

Now it's time to start the journey of each sephiroth and path, meditating on each of the symbols listed in Paths of Wisdom (John Michael Greer, highly recommended).

This is a huge undertaking, and will take approximately three years to get through the entire Tree, assuming I am faithful in doing the work. If I'm not consistent, this could take five years or more.

This gives a whole new meaning to the phrase "Onward and upward!"

It's definitely tough going -- but I finally realized that 'getting it' requires a mixture of intellect and experience. It's something that can't be fully understood without a lot of meditation and journeying through the Tree itself. Not that I'm all that far along myself. . .

I've put this on hold for a little while dealing with the grief from my illness, but if you'd like to make a filter for this undertaking, I'll be happy to work with you on it.

Thanks for the suggestions. Paths of Wisdom is very much my primary text for this work, but I always appreciate hearing about other resources.

I'll have to see what my meditations are like, but I'll probably start posting more about it here. Insights and suggestions are always appreciated.
