After spending more than three years thinking about it, talking about it, planning it, and running away from it, I have finally launched the website for my business, Feral Holiness: Spiritual Direction Outside the Boundaries.
http://www.feralholiness.com/
Please drop by and take a look around, and then let me know what you think. I welcome any and all feedback: constructive comments to help make it better, and kudos to reassure me that it's as slick as I think it is.
If you know someone who you think would be interested in or benefit from either spiritual direction or tarot readings, please send them the link.
Now if you'll excuse me, I have a happy dance to do!

Date: 2009-05-19 03:35 am (UTC)I was Director of Marketing for a start-up back in 2000-2001, so I know that part. :-)
I have a full-fledged business plan and a marketing plan. I'm looking forward to the next steps!

Date: 2009-05-19 03:36 am (UTC)I can't take too much credit for a lot of the artistic element, however. I used a template which supplied the colors and layout. I chose the photos. But it's good to know the text is legible.

Date: 2009-05-18 09:44 pm (UTC)The site looks beautiful. It's very simplistic and easy to go through, and I can't think of any questions I'd have that I couldn't find the answers to. The pictures are just lovely.

Date: 2009-05-19 03:40 am (UTC)As a Queen of Swords, doing things "right" is a big thing for me -- but everyone has their own best/right way of reading the cards. My big challenge has been allowing myself to trust my intuition.
But if you want to spend some time going over your own deck in a systematic way, I'd be happy to do so with you. I've been developing a curriculum called "Me and My Tarot" -- or have you seen that already?

Date: 2009-05-19 12:42 am (UTC)at first glance, it looks very clean and professional, yet has enough warmth with the pictures at the top to be inviting.
will explore further as I have a chance.

Date: 2009-05-19 08:26 pm (UTC)I've never heard of 'spiritual direction' as a business, but I think it's a wonderful idea, especially since it's not for a specific religious path. I think many people might be attracted to this, such as those who know they're not on the 'right' path for them but aren't sure how to find it!
Good luck with this wonderful enterprise.

Date: 2009-05-25 09:35 am (UTC)One thing I spotted, though, was that on your 'about me' page, the link to Clare's Pagan Prayer Beads book isn't working. Just thought I'd mention it. :-)
Congratulations, Honey! Rooting for this to work for you! :-)

Date: 2009-05-25 12:38 pm (UTC)It's very helpful to know that it answered your questions.
There's not actually a link set up for Pagan Prayer Beads. ;-)
