After spending more than three years thinking about it, talking about it, planning it, and running away from it, I have finally launched the website for my business, Feral Holiness: Spiritual Direction Outside the Boundaries.

http://www.feralholiness.com/

Please drop by and take a look around, and then let me know what you think. I welcome any and all feedback: constructive comments to help make it better, and kudos to reassure me that it's as slick as I think it is.

If you know someone who you think would be interested in or benefit from either spiritual direction or tarot readings, please send them the link.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have a happy dance to do!

Congratulations! Site is looking good! Now it's just a matter of marketing (the part that so many people overlook, unfortunately). Good luck with this venture, I think it's a great idea and such an exciting prospect for your life!

Thanks! I'm really excited!

I was Director of Marketing for a start-up back in 2000-2001, so I know that part. :-)

I have a full-fledged business plan and a marketing plan. I'm looking forward to the next steps!

I have to compliment the layout. I have vision problems and used to help a friend of mine who built websites make sure it was "user friendly" for the disabled. This is a very smooth, easy to see and read interface. The images are aesthetically pleasing and get the point across without being gaudy or making the page seem cluttered or unpleasant to view. The links are clear and easy to navigate. The font is easy to see and read. Well done!

Thanks so much! That's really important feedback.

I can't take too much credit for a lot of the artistic element, however. I used a template which supplied the colors and layout. I chose the photos. But it's good to know the text is legible.

The site looks very professional! The only nitpick I have - and the fact it is so minor should reassure you about the quality of the rest of the site - is the bold text on the home page. It may be more consistent and punchy if "with" on lines two and three, and "from" on line four were not in bold text.

Apart from that, it's wonderful. I wish you every success!

Thanks so much!

I'll take another look at those elements on the Home Page. :-)

You teach tarot? Go you! I can read tarot, but not really in a traditional way. I need to sit down more with them. I'm much better at intuitive readings with soul cards, and I admire people who really understand Tarot.

The site looks beautiful. It's very simplistic and easy to go through, and I can't think of any questions I'd have that I couldn't find the answers to. The pictures are just lovely.

Thanks so much!

As a Queen of Swords, doing things "right" is a big thing for me -- but everyone has their own best/right way of reading the cards. My big challenge has been allowing myself to trust my intuition.

But if you want to spend some time going over your own deck in a systematic way, I'd be happy to do so with you. I've been developing a curriculum called "Me and My Tarot" -- or have you seen that already?

I didn't see that curriculum, no. I go to a tarot study group and just really need to sit down and spend time with it. I have an untraditional deck that has some extra cards in it. I need to devote more time on it. I read the pictures more than anything else, so I have to be really picky on decks.

congratulations, darlin'!

at first glance, it looks very clean and professional, yet has enough warmth with the pictures at the top to be inviting.

will explore further as I have a chance.

I like it very much! It's a very clean and professional-looking site.

I've never heard of 'spiritual direction' as a business, but I think it's a wonderful idea, especially since it's not for a specific religious path. I think many people might be attracted to this, such as those who know they're not on the 'right' path for them but aren't sure how to find it!

Good luck with this wonderful enterprise.

Love the site! I had been wondering what a Spiritual Director did, and kept meaning to ask. Your site answers my questions beautifully, the pictures at the top of each page are stunning, and the whole thing is nice and easy to read.
One thing I spotted, though, was that on your 'about me' page, the link to Clare's Pagan Prayer Beads book isn't working. Just thought I'd mention it. :-)

Congratulations, Honey! Rooting for this to work for you! :-)

Thanks for the feedback!
It's very helpful to know that it answered your questions.

There's not actually a link set up for Pagan Prayer Beads. ;-)

Oh, I see. Because it is underlined like 'Spiritual Directors International', I thought it was meant to be a link. Ooops! LOL
