Three Cards for Today
Dec. 19th, 2008 07:15 amYesterday was a really rough day. As part of her supportive comments,
a_belletrist suggested drawing a tarot card for insight.
Yesterday got away from me, but this morning I started out with a draw, and got the 8 of Swords.

Limitation and oppression are primarily the product of my own mind, and a shift of perspective, a shift in thought patterns, is my best tool for "escape" from feeling trapped.
The next two cards were 9 of Cups inverted, pointing out that despite my good intentions I really don't have the resources right now for happy hospitality, and the third card was the King of Pentacles, reminding me to ground and have confidence in my ability to have authority and control in the spheres of the material world where I'm find so much challenge. It is also a reminder of my primary ally, who is ever with me, ever generous.
