Can you priestess from the bottom?

I'm sure that the answer -- technically and theoretically -- is "yes."

The question is how I would approach it.


And I'm aware that the very fact that I'm asking the question reveals a thing or two about my personal biases about power dynamics, sexually and spiritually.

There's a whole lot of material that's suddenly surfacing for me to work through. . .

The simple answer,is, of course, yes. The hows and whats are a bit more thorny. Facilitating experience and change can take many forms. Sometimes, our "clients" need to meet their Shadows in an active form. Sometimes, their Shadows are passive. We can provide the conduits for both of these, and many other channels as well. All sides of the Dance of Power are Sacred work.

What material is surfacing for you?

I myself priest from the bottom. I've worked on it consciously for seven years now. However, I was doing it before I knew what I was doing, if that makes sense. Most of my experience includes self-development work and non-local work with others. I've done only a little skin to skin with others.

Where are you right now with the "How"?

To be honest, I haven't done anything with this topic since I posted this. Too much else going on in my life, and -- to be honest -- it's tough when my only partner is disincarnate. I keep wanting to make other contacts in the local community, but as an introvert who is a single parent, getting out to events is a fairly big challenge for me.

Could you say more about your your personal biases about power dynamics, sexuality and spirituality?

I'd love to. . . maybe after the holidays? I'm feeling pretty overwhelmed at the moment.

Yes, I understand. Sometimes life gets in the way. Yes, I'm intrroverted too. Our strength is depth more than breadth of relationships. I wish you the best in connecting with others in the local community. I've enjoyed and been deeply moved by many of your posts. Thank you for sharing your journey. Yes, I do plan to share more of my experience and practice. I'm just getting started and am still finding my way around LJ. It is so refreshing to be out of Heathen groups and dialoging with others of differnt paths. Thank you for being you!
