For the past year and more, my computer's desktop image has been in some way related to LM.

There are still references to him around me, but I needed to shift my focus.

Besides, having a reminder of nature in front of me like this may help motivate me to get outdoors more before our good weather disappears.

That's beautiful. And I like the movement of the path shape on the right.

I have gotten a lot of beautiful desktop images of outdoor scenes from [livejournal.com profile] seraphimsigrist, and from [livejournal.com profile] poliphilo, too. Right now I have my favorite Medicine Buddha image on the desktop here at work.

Nice. Very nice!

I suggest Asahel Curtis, along 90 not far from the pass, as one potential good place to get outdoors. It's got a selection of paths, including some in the woods and one by a river, and is close enough for a convenient half-day trip.
