LBRP - Next Level

Tonight was the first time I used all four elemental banishing pentagrams in my LBRP instead of just the banishing pentagram of Earth -- and it definitely upped the potency of the ritual. I also did the Middle Pillar for the second time, and found it almost as intense as the first.

I'm learning to be more deliberate and conscious in tapping into Divine energy, and realizing that it can be more complicated than I had allowed in the past. I don't want to needlessly overcomplicate things, but I have an image in my mind of a circuit board, corresponding to my energy centers and channels. I could simply tap into the energy and let it fill me like a cup -- but if I run it through certain circuits and paths I could use it more effectively.

At the moment I'm not sure what exactly to use it for, but I'm sure that will come in time.

These exercises actually have unlimited potential. When you get comfortable with this set, begin working with the lightening flash through the bottom seven sephirot. After you get the hang of that, add the top three. Then hang on tight!

Doesn't it technically become the *Greater* Ritual of the Pentagram when you start using the distinctive elemental 'grams?

More importantly, what should you NOT use it for? the LBRP will completely deconstruct any magical energy around you, including your altar tools, magical jewelry, magical beings....

Used outdoors, it will affect the unseen and natural world in a negative way as well.

It is the lesser BANISHING ritual of the pentagram. It's job is to BANISH things. It is extremely important to construct shields around your magical things before performing the LBRP, and to warn any of your magical allies that they may want to seek shelter. If used outside, you need to be very specific about what space you are clearing with it, and again, warn any natural and beneficial entities.

On a personal level, it is used to balance and center the self, and to clear out personal negative energies. Beyond that, it will clear ickies out of a room, clear bad energy signatures left by humans, and prepare a space for ritual.

Most natural settings do not need to be cleared, but in an area like a picnic shelter, that retains chaotic energies of, for example, someone who has been drinking, or throwing butts and trash on the ground, it is very effetive.

and yes, ALL four elemental pentagrams need to come in play, for there to be a cleansing. I have seen things (that are not specific to one element) shift around the quarters, seeking to avoid being banished.
