Post-Valentine's Hangover

qosI very seldom drink alcohol anymore and when I do it's seldom in any quantity.
But I did have a couple of drinks last night while celebrating Valentine's Day with my late partner. It was celebratory not elegiac -- but it was more than I've had at one time in quite a while.
And now it's Friday morning and I'm remembering why I shouldn't have multiple drinks on a work night.
It's not too bad, but I'm definitely not moving as quickly this morning as I usually am.
The celebration itself was intense and wonderful and put me more deeply in touch with myself as well as him. I may post a bit about it later (friends only).
In the meantime. . . I need to get ready to go.
