I had lessons when I was a small child, inspired by Peggy Fleming, but I didn't do very well. I much prefer roller skating.

Oh, yes. . . I've had multiple surgeries, and a caesarean birth which resulted in a two week stay.

Yes! Wolfling (who I am starting to call FoxGirl here as of about five minutes ago) just turned 24. Her pronouns are she/her. :-)

My offspring are Falcon (24), Tiger (22) and Mouse (20). Pronouns are all he/him, but none of them identify as heterosexual. For some reason, that makes me pretty happy - a parenting success that they feel free to be themselves in that way at least.

FoxGirl made me very happy when she told me the other day that when she was younger she had a hard time understanding why other kids had such a hard time coming out to their families. It was a complete non-issue with both her dad and me, and it was a while before she realized that not everyone had it that easy.

I absolutely love watching FG become more and more herself. It's fun to see the ways we are alike, but her individuality thrills me, and I've always tried to encourage it.

I guess I was off LJ when I got it. :-)

It's very stark: just the three runes. I wanted it to be like the Roman legion marks. Unfortunately, people who are not familiar with runes usually see it as "MOM," which drives me crazy -- although I don't blame them. I was going to post a photo here, but it looks like images are not allowed in comments.
