This purports to be a Toyota commercial. . . but I don't see it as presenting the car as the actual object of desire. . . .

Yikes!

That tentacle looked exactly like one of Londo's "attributes".

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

And the moral of that story is: lusting after a new car can kill you. :-)

I was thinking more of the "feeder" -- but you're right!

The B5 designers evidently have a limited range of visuals for tentacles. . .

The CGI is beginning to show its age, alas. I just try not to look at it too hard--concentrate on The Story. We watched "A Late Delivery from Avalon" the other night. *happyswoon*

I love that episode. There's so much wonderfulness in it, but I have a special soft spot for They were the bad guys as you say and we were the good guys -- and they made a very satisfying *thump* when they hit the floor!

One of my friends claims that this episode is *the* turning point for G'Kar, when he begins to truly emerge from his anger and pain and start becoming a moral hero. I haven't watched the series end to end in long enough to have formulated an opinion myself. What do you think?

I think the turning point comes a little earlier in "Dust to Dust", when he pleads guilty to assaulting Londo and accepts his imprisonment, using it as a chance to reflect on his visionary experience. Though "...Avalon" *is* the first time we see him step in and intervene on behalf of another, someone not Narn, so it's significant on that count.

I find that in this watching I'm finally noticing the score of the episodes. I'm also having ideas for little (gen) fanfic ideas: What happens to "Arthur" after he leaves? Does Vir marry his wacko arranged wife? What becomes of Timov after Londo becomes Emperor?

I too have wondered what happened to Arthur. . . Maybe one day he'll meet up with Thomas and they'll seek the Grail together?
