Perception Check
Nov. 13th, 2008 07:05 amI'm expecting my manager to send out an email to our team today announcing my promotion. However it won't go to friends on other teams, especially my previous one. I want to share the good news, but I don't necessarily have good instincts where office politics are concerned. (Does this even count as office politics?)

Date: 2008-11-13 04:28 pm (UTC)Best thing would be if you could persuade your boss to send out an announcement on your behalf - that way everyone finds out, but you don't have to tell them !
