I am now the happy owner of a 2003 Saturn L200 with only 24,000 miles on it.
It drives very nicely and feels like it was designed for a person of my proportions in mind.
It's yet another gray, four-door sedan, but the interior has black upholstery with color inserts that liven it up a bit.

This really does feel like a significant adult rite of passage: making a major purchase as the decision maker. The last cars "I bought" were actually primarily purchased by my then-husband with me along as a courtesy. My car before that was a college graduation gift from my parents (it was the family car a good many years on it). So this is a big deal for me.

My 1997 Ford Escort -- with 157,059 miles on it -- was bid goodbye with thanks for more than ten years of faithful, mostly trouble-free service.

Thank you!

I have to say that I was just a bit intimidated by embarking on the process, but I'm pleased with how it turned out.

Thanks!

And yes, it's going to greatly reduce my stress to not be wondering if I'm going to end up on the side of the road before I get to where I'm going!

Hope you're having a wonderful time. . . !
