I'm still very tired from the trip.
I miss my Wolfling.

My car is back in the shop.
The trip was evidently a bit much for it.

There are almost no groceries in the house.
Pizza will arrive soon.

Once the pizza is here, I'm going to change into my jammies, eat dinner on the couch while reading Pagan Prayer Beads, and then have fun sorting my beads into my new hobby box.

Very good choice in tonight's literature. I enjoyed it quite a bit.

I love beading. . . my prayer beads sell almost as quickly as custom pieces. It's something with which a whole lot of people can readily identify. Especially when you let them pick their beads, and give you something special of their own to include in the design.

I'm looking forward to working on new designs.

May I ask where/how you sell your beads?

Most of my sales are word of mouth. (I have a few "mouthy" friends, go figure. . .) That's how I end up doing quite a bit of custom stuff, although I've always got some things made up and ready to show people.

And there are a few local pagan festivals around here on the equinoxes, so I usually go halvsies with another pagan friend of mine. She is quite crafty and we are usually able to fill a couple of tables quite easily. We also have a blast, and I think for both of us, the festival feeling is the best part of the deal.

I've hesitated to do the eBay thing, or design my own website, because I love beading so much. I'm afraid if I actually have a storefront, even a virtual one, then a wonderfully relaxing and creative pursuit will turn into work. Does that make sense? Perhaps only to me. . .

It makes perfect sense to me. :-)

It's one thing to do something you love simply for the joy of it, and another thing to make a business of it.

BTW: Did you know that Clare Vaughn has an LJ? She doesn't post much, but if you like Pagan Prayer Beads you might be interested in friending her. [livejournal.com profile] clare_vaughn

Well, how cool. No, I did not know. Thank you.

Off to read her journal. . .
