Hmm. . . not something I'd associated with it. I was more thinking of the literal flooding of the old house, plus the intense emotional tides of the past year. No matter how big and/or effective my sword, it's not much use against rising waters.

I was thinking of the moment when Mickey realizes he can't control the whole mess that's in process around him. Sort of the same association, just from a different angle. (And of course I haven't watched the movie for years.)
