Icons!

I spent ten bucks earlier this morning to expand my icon space. I get terribly jealous of some of the mini-masterpieces that are some LJ'ers icons, and I always want more nuanced choices in my own selections. I'll be on the prowl. . .

I've seen a bunch of people who have cartoonish face icons that seem to be individually crafted. Can anyone enlighten me as to their source?

And if any of my creative friends ever feel an impulsive desire to come up with an icon for me, I'd be absolutely delighted!

I'm taking a break from studying for my Christian Ethics class -- but I really should be working on Swedenborgian Exegesis, since it comes earlier in the week and the reading is more complicated. This evening I'm taking The Child to see "Ella Enchanted" and then we'll have dinner together -- Girls' Night out. She's thrilled, which makes me feel good.

Painting the air ducts went well. I want to just keep plowing through: go to Home Depot for white latex and start in on the trim and closet doors. . . but I really need to get my reading done. And that's a weird feeling: wanting to work on my house but resigning myself to homework. It's that whole chrysalis "thing" again: I'm changing in deep and profound ways, while still remaining myself. I'm as interested in spirituality and ethics as ever. . . but I am falling in love with my house and what I can do with it also.

Back to work. . . !!
